Kontribusi Twitter dan Facebook Terhadap Penulisan Posting

Aku belum tahu pendapat kalian, tapi bila dilongok beberapa posting terakhir edittag dengan posting-posting sebelumnya, ada perbedaan yang kentara disini. Terutama dari sisi jumlah penulisan dalam satu posting. Dulu (sekedar curhat boleh ya), kalau sudah di depan komputer dan waktunya sudah disiapkan untuk update blog, menulis adalah pekerjaan yang membutuhkan kejelian pemilihan kata-kata. Tak heran, bila sambil menulis kadang masih mengingat-ingat pemilihan kata yang cocok untuk sekedar dipilih. Dan ini jelas butuh waktu yang relatif lebih lama.

Sekarang? wah untuk menulis posting baru serasa punya nafas yang lebih pendek. Sependek tulisan yang akhirnya terketik di papan keyboard. Entah kenapa dengan perbedaan habit ini. Bisa jadi karena memang mood menulis yang berbeda dengan jaman-jaman di kala blog masih dipandang media baru di internet, atau bisa juga karena seneng ketika tulisannya akhirnya bisa dikomentari oleh banyak pembaca.

Tapi satu hal yang boleh jadi ancaman dari perbedaan ini adalah bergesernya kebiasaan baru di dunia maya. Ingat ga? ketika PyraLab sang ibu dari munculnya Blogger.com akhirnya dibeli kemudian sang pendirinya menciptakan sebuah media baru bernama Twitter? Apa sih bedanya blogger dan twitter? mestinya sih tak jauh beda ya, toh twitter dikenal sebagai layanan microblog alias blog mini. Mini yang dimaksud disini adalah dalam jumlah karakter yang diperkenankan untuk ditulis.

Sebelumnya, dengan blog, kita bisa menulis sepanjang yang kita mau. Ini cocok buat mereka yang getol menulis. Lengket ketika alam pikiran membawanya untuk dipindahkan ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Sedang bagi mereka yang tergolong 'malas' untuk menulis, ngeblog jadi pekerjaan yang melelahkan. Tak pelak, kehadiran twitter menawarkan solusi mudah untuk tetap update blognya hanya dengan bekal kalimat pendek, bahkan dibatasi tak boleh lebih dari 140 karakter! Kebangetan kan?

Belum juga beres kenalan dengan twitter, facebook juga bisa dikatakan serupa. Untuk menulis statusnya, biasanya hanya kalimat pendek yang akhirnya bisa ditulis. Dua atau tiga kalimat. Beres. Ini status loh ya, bukan Notes, karena di Notes atau Catatan kita juga sebenarnya diberikan peluang untuk menulis lebih detail dan berbuku-buku.

Kebiasaan bergelut dengan keduanya, Twitter dan Facebook, memberikan informasi terselubung pada otak, bahwa tak perlu menulis panjang-panjang, toh akhirnya banyak juga yang memberikan feedback, semacam komentar di Facebook, atau ReTweet di Twitter. Satu hal yang banyak didamba oleh para blogger yang berharap mendapatkan banyak komentar masuk ke dalam tulisannya. Telak ya!. Pikiran ini akhirnya juga melandasi tindakan untuk menulis pendek, ringkas, dan tak perlu bertele-tele.


Sekedar mencari pembelaan, ternyata di luaran sana, juga banyak yang menganggap kehadiran Twitter juga bisa berpengaruh kepada kemampuan menulis yang rendah. Malas untuk menulis sebuah tulisan yang bisa panjang dan bermutu. Kalau sekedar panjang dan ga bermutu sih mudah kan?

Setelah saya mempelajari bagai mana membuat blog, ternyata saya kesulitan dalam mengedit blog saya, terutama dalam edit HTML nya, , terus untuk menampilkan menu-menu yang disediakan itu bagaimana?? serta mengganti layout blog, sebelumnya pernah saya coba, mengganti layout dengan mengcopy kode HTML nya, tapi tidak masuk,,

Untuk blogspot (blogger.com) pada menu templates - edit HTML agar copy pasti code HTML berhasil Anda bisa mencobanya dengan memilih template klasik di bagian paling bawah, setelah itu Insya Allah code HTML yang anda copykan bisa berhasil. Untuk menampilkan aksesories lainnya sebaiknya Anda sedikit menggunakan beberapa trik HTML.
